As the primary external consultants to global architecture firm, Populous, we provided strategic advice against project criteria, and guided and coordinated multiple contributors across two countries, to bring together a technical response that formed part of the successfully appointed consortium bid for the design and development of the Kai Tak Sports Park, Kowloon, Hong Kong, valued at HK$30 billion.

Succesful tender to deliver $ 1million Care Finder Program
Advised Advance Diversity Services in its successful tender in a competitive environment to deliver the Care Finder program in NSW. Advance Diversity secured approximately $1 million in funding to focus on the establishment of the program for CALD communities in South Eastern Sydney, including the areas of Hurstville, Kogarah, Rockdale, Sutherland and Cronulla. The establishment of a network of care finders aims to provide specialist and intensive assistance to help people within the care finder target population to better understand and access aged care and connect with other relevant supports in the community.

Successful tender to deliver Settlement and Transition Supports
Advised Advance Diversity Services to successfully secure more than $2 million in funding, through a competitive tender process, to continue delivery of the Settlement Engagement and Transition Support (SETS) Program on behalf of the Department of Home Affairs for a period of 3 years. Advance Diversity Services will deliver the Program in 4 NSW Statistical Areas (Hurstville, Kogarah-Rockdale, Cronulla-Miranda-Caringbah, and Sutherland-Menai-Heathcote) via team of Multicultural Support Workers with fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, Arabic, Nepalese, Thai, Bengali, Russian, Ukrainian and more.

Successful tender to deliver crucial workforce development programs
Advised Settlement Services International (SSI) in its successful tender, in a competitive environment, to deliver the Home Care Workforce Support Program in NSW and ACT. SSI is one of six organisations chosen and will share in more than $91 million of funding which has been allocated to organisations in each state and territory. The Home Care Workforce Program aimed to grow the nation’s home care workforce by 13,000 over two years.

Advised Pearl Home Care on the development of a unified, visually appealing, lead-generating website that combined its Aged Care and NDIS services while aligning with Pearl’s evolving brand and marketing strategy. Key outcomes included:

As primary strategic consultants, we worked in-house at two Open Minds offices across a number of weeks to extract vital performance metrics and program outlines in order to develop the strategy and then manage the drafting of Open Minds Australia’s successful application to deliver Disability Employment Services (including consideration of mental health and family and domestic violence referral pathways).

Queensland Biosecurity – Strategy Paper: 2018 – 2023 Content and Design
In consultation with Biosecurity Queensland, their stakeholders and the agriculture industry, we developed, edited and designed a new Biosecurity Strategy and Action Plan for Queensland. The strategy analyses risk and sets the strategic goals and direction for biosecurity in Queensland from 2018 – 2023.

Strategic advisor on successful bid to deliver On-Country programs to at-risk youth in Townsville
As the primary external consultants for Gr8motive Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporation, we worked with the board to develop a project strategy and proposal to deliver On Country Programs to offending and at-risk indigenous youth in Townsville, including associated policies, delivery specifications and communications plans.
The program, which aims to deliver a cultural support program aimed at improving the lives of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders who are at risk and require support to move out of the justice system, is valued at more than $1.5 million over 3 years.

Partnering to Achieve Aged Care Provider Registrations
KLR Communications has worked over a number of years with our partner, SoCom Consulting, to advise multiple clients on their aged care provider applications and successful registration with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission.
Our partnership with SoCom Consulting enables us to provide additional value to clients who can access expert aged care sector advice, assistance with new provider applications, and market leading policies, procedures and templates for delivery of services under the Support at Home Program.
KLR Communications further assists new sector entrants on front end strategic market entry advice and services, including brand, website and marketing collateral design and development, and digital marketing campaigns.

$9 million of funding awarded for delivery of Commonwealth Home Supports Programme
KLR Communications’ aged care team secured approximately $3 million of annual funding to deliver home care packages under the Commonwealth Home Supports Programme (CHSP). We worked with clients in Perth, Sydney, Toowoomba and Melbourne in their successful applications to deliver aged care supports in high demand regions across the country. Funding was recurring for 3 years, equating to a total funding amount of almost $9 million. The CHSP assists senior Australians access entry-level support services to enable them to live independently and safely in their own home for as long as possible.

Integrated Digital Marketing Campaign
Advising Pearl Home Care on the strategic design, implementation and ongoing management of an integrated and multi-faceted digital marketing campaign, covering Google Ads, Meta, SEO, SEM and content marketing. Through development of a clear brand message, visual assets, powerful ad copy and targeted campaigns, developed at the local level for each of Pearl’s 40 offices across Australia, key results in just the first 3 months of the program included:
- Increased website traffic to newly launched website by 700%
- Generated $10.5 million worth of trackable leads
- Achieved an average CTR 600 times market benchmarks
