Applications Open for Commonwealth Home Support Programme – 2020 – 2022

Jan 12, 2021 | News

The Department of Health has today released the latest Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) Growth Funding round for 2020 to 2022.

$32.2 million is available for 2020-21, with between $49.2 and $60 million available for 2021-22.

Alike previous rounds, this opportunity targets the allocation of funds to specific Aged Care Planning Regions (ACPRs) and service types that have been identified as having gaps in service delivery or being in high demand.

To be eligible to participate in the Programme, your organisation must be an existing commonwealth funded provider of aged care or disability services, such as:

  • an existing CHSP provider;
  • an approved provider of aged care services; or
  • a registered NDIS provider.

Applications close 5 February 2021, with the earliest start of the grant activity being April 2021.  Please note – any funding for FY 2021 will be applied for a full year, regardless of the activity not starting until a maximum of 3 months prior to year end. Applicants should consider they may have 2 full years of funding to allocate across what is largely 1 financial year and plan accordingly.

KLR Communications has successfully secured almost $9 million in funding for clients in a previous round and our team are available to assist you.
