$25 million in grants launched for QLD small businesses
The Queensland Government has this month announced it will continue to invest in small business through the launch of three new grant programs that will be rolled out over the coming months and support projects over the next 2 years.
Small businesses who are looking to recover from COVID-19, pursue new opportunities for growth and employ more people will be able to apply for grants of between $5,000 and $15,000.
Available grants are as follows:

Business Basics Grant | $5,000 | 31 May 2021 | To support new and emerging businesses to increase core capabilities and adopt current best practice. Funding could be used for website development and upgrades, strategic marketing, training and coaching, advisory services and planning for business continuity and succession. |
Business Boost Grant | Up to $15,000 | Late July 2021 | To improve their efficiency and productivity through organisational development and upgrades through automated software and CRM systems. |
Business Growth Fund | Up to $50,000 (applicants to fund at least 25% of project costs) | 11 May 2021 | To assist businesses to buy specialised equipment to unlock growth potential, increase production, expand their workforce and maximise economic returns. |
