We advised Pearl Home Care on the development of the full suite of organisational policies, employee handbooks and client information handbooks. All policies and procedures were drafted in plain English, supported by the full suite of registers, checklists, forms and templates, and were subject to audit and compliance with relevant legislation.
Following the awarding of an ITEC Youth team member as Outstanding Young Employee in the Lake Macquarie Business Excellence Awards, we advised on the drafting of an informative piece (published in online and print news) and an associated print ad congratulating the winner.
We advised the Department of Education on the drafting and development of the Teaching Queensland’s Future Strategic Plan 2018 – 2020 and associated internal and external communications to accompany the Minister’s program launch.
In consultation with Biosecurity Queensland, their stakeholders and the agriculture industry, a new Biosecurity Strategy and Action Plan for Queensland. The strategy analyses risk and sets the strategic goals and direction for biosecurity in Queensland from 2018 – 2023.
KLR Communications acted as sole sub-contractor over the course of 2 years, providing strategic advice on the Department of Housing’s consumer engagement strategy, including mapping of critical pathways, audit and redraft of more than 300 pieces of correspondence using Behavioural Insights principles.
Communications were measured for effectiveness through observational and interview-based techniques and engagement with a range of key stakeholders, including Housing Service Centre personnel and business unit representatives from locations throughout South East Queensland, and observing and transcribing client interactions.
The project aimed to review products and services to modernise and reflect the Queensland Housing Strategy 2017-2027 and provide a more person-centred approach, benchmarked against key indicators such as readability, understandability, ease of key message identification, and cultural appropriateness.
